The Ministry of Finance and Transferences suggests that Kosovo's Treasury, on behalf of Kosovo, has opened an official bank account dedicated to the accession and obtaining of funds dedicated to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the ministry's announcement, this is done in order to increase transparency, as well as the highest accountability to the public, as well as partners related to the contribution and management of these funds.
The open account is part of the Treasury Self Accounting System opened at the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, functional from April 1, 2020, where all transfers can be carried out in and outside the country, according to the following details:
