Kinoll: We are against the elections, forming the sweeping government

The representative of the 6+ Parliamentary Group in the Kosovo Assembly, Albert Kinoll, has declared they oppose extraordinary elections because of the situation created by the Corona virus.

Kinoll after meeting with President Hashim Thaci, said we are not willing to risk the lives of citizens to go to gatherings.

He has supported the formation of a sweeping government, as he said to increase institutional responsibility for the pandemic.

“With the president's invitation we were invited to a meeting following the proposed motion of no confidence in the government. Nobody died from elections but after we are in such a situation, many people's lives are being questioned, at the moment it's not time to call on citizens to protect them by staying at home”, he said.

“Let's make our contribution by respecting the constitution to form a new and stable government because of the pandemic by increasing institutional responsibility”, he has said.
