Kek's union in a communique has expressed concern over the dismissal of the board, saying it was meant for political purposes and interests.
The effect is said to be that “is not estimated the risk and sacrifice that we are making even now in these difficult times from the epidemic when our workers are risking their lives and families to produce electricity and guarantee energy stability”.
“We are concerned that internal divisions are being sparked and the opinion is being set to create that we are the target of any political party.
We are concerned that in addition to public statements, there are also direct interventions among workers to form groups and militants that incite division and hatred towards each other.
We are disappointed with the tendency to compare KEK to any other company just to achieve political goals”.
Communications:
Honored prime minister, minister, MP, representatives of political parties, ambassador,
We are deeply concerned with KEK's approach and tendency to politicise and promote collective divisions.
We're concerned about the recent decisions on the Board's dismissal and the tendency to intervene in KEK management as if it was happening in other companies.
We are deeply concerned that it was for political purposes and interests that KEK slandered rather than assessed for the successes and results achieved.
We are concerned that domestic divisions are being sparked and that we are aiming to create an opinion that we are the target of a political party.
We are concerned that in addition to public statements, there are also direct interventions among workers to form groups and militants that incite division and hatred towards each other.
We are disappointed with the tendency to compare KEK to any other company just to achieve political goals.
It's slander and it's shameful to compare KEK to any other company, even because of the difficulties of nature that our work has done, even because of the successes in which our efforts and feelings are held over 4,000 families and the state benefits millions of euros a year.
We are very concerned that the job, the sacrifices and successes of KEK are not being assessed over the years.
No risk and sacrifice we are making even now in these difficult times when our workers are risking their lives and families to produce electricity and to ensure energy stability.
These are unacceptable, and we will not allow these surroundings to occur and overcome our labor and sacrifice.
We inform you that as we have reacted sharply in each case, and regardless of who intended to politicise KEK or benefit from the defeat and sweat of KEK workers, we will react again and will not allow policyisation, division and political division as has happened over the years and is now happening in other public companies.
This is a dangerous game, and it violates our security and stability, because it is due to these interventions and politicisations that most public enterprises have been destroyed and now risk hundreds of workers being left without their salaries.
We have protected and protected KEK at any cost and with all union forms.
Once again we call on everyone, keep your hands off KEK.
Don't stir up divisions or politicise KEK because we're not.
Otherwise we would not have more than 20m euros in profits during 2019 alone and would not be the stable and successful company in Kosovo.
Thanks to our labor, sacrifice, dedication and sweat, Kosovo has energy stability and our citizens pay the cheaper price of energy.
Our results are shared. It wouldn't be these successes without the sacrifice of workers even if there wasn't a good commitment and management from the Corporation's management.
