KEDS quarantined worker scores positive with coronary

KEDS reports that a company worker at the Ferizaj Distikt has been tested on April 14th and has resulted in positive with Covid 19. He had been quarantined for a week.

This had happened after the first case appeared in his village on April 08. We as a company have reacted immediately and sent the employee, but his close team in quarantine, based on guidelines from the National Public Health Institute for such cases. Standing in quarantine at home on exactly the 15th. April, when the test results came up, it proved positive. After realizing the case yesterday, immediately as KEDS we have taken measures to identify all other contacts that the employee may have had.

Since the first day of March 12th, when decisions were made by government institutions and health care institutions, KEDS has established the Emergency Commission, which is closely monitoring the situation and based on that taking the necessary measures -- such as supplying all staff with mask and gloves. Disinfectment on regular grounds of all buildings and vehicles, sending home about 400 employees for various reasons (grained women, child care, chronic illness), sending a portion of the administrative staff working from home, self-curanting employees from affected areas, providing field employees with adequate clothing if they need to enter quarantine areas to regulate any emergency intervention, etc. All of this was taken to downplay the potential effect of Avid 19.
