Japan willing to support Kosovo in confronting the Codvis-19 pandemic

Finance and Transitions Minister Besnik Bislimi has hosted today's meeting Japan's ambassador to Kosovo Mitsunori Ogasawara, who has discussed the emergency situation in Kosovo because of the Covid19 pandemic, the measures the Government of Kosovo has undertaken, as well as the possibility of increasing co-operation between the two states after the end of the pandemic.
Minister Bislimli during the meeting stressed the current progress in implementing the government's Emergency Packos Fiscal of the Republic of Kosovo, but also voiced the need for the assistance of international collaborators to overcome this situation.
While Japanese Ambassador Ogasawara expressed gratitude to the Government of Kosovo for managing the pandemic situation, as well as showing Japan's willingness to help Kosovo cope with the consequences caused. The ambassador also stressed the possibility of co-operation between Japan and Kosovo in the business field after the end of the pandemic situation and the normalisation of the situation.
