Vaccina Versus COVID-19, held at Oxford University, will start testing on people in the United Kingdom from Thursday this week.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock said today that he was “kling everything else on the side of” and trying to advance the vaccine, writes the Daily Mail, broadcast the news.net.
The government will provide scientists with an additional 20m pounds (22.6 ml) to help with their project, Hancock said.
Oxford University's research director has said earlier that vaccines in laboratory tests have shown satisfactory results.
