The Democratic Party of Kosovo MP, through the social Facebook network, has written that he is happy that Kosovo has so far had excellent co-operation with the Turkish community and that we should boast as a state.
Hoxhaj has said Turkey has been and is a close partner of Kosovo, which was also one of the first states to have supported Kosovo's independence.

The Turkish community in Kosovo is a powerful bridge to Kosovo's close relations with Turkey.
Kosovo marks Turkey Day today. I am happy that so far we have had excellent co-operation with the Turkish community and should take pride in achieving the advancement of their political and ethnic rights, but also with their integration into local and central institutions.
Meanwhile, Turkey has been and is a close partner of Kosovo, which was also one of the first states to have supported Kosovo's independence. It continues to be a major ally of our state in the journey towards membership in international organisations.
