Fasting is not essential for the afflicted and the elderly. Some categories of people are not allowed to fast. Among them are the most chronically ill, those who are threatened with the threat of organ damage, then pregnant women, psychics, and travelers who during the month of Ramadan are forced to travel more than 81 km.
The sacred month of Ramadan this year began differently for Muslim believers, where, as a precaution for the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, prayers with gammas have been suspended. Because of the pandemic, believers will perform religious rituals at home.
