Hillary Clinton supports Biden for US president

Former US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has supported the Democratic Party's candidate, Joe Biden, in his US presidential candidacy.

Support marks the continuation of the high profile series in the Democratic Party supporting Beden in the race with President Donald Trump for elections expected to be held on 3 November this year.

Clinton, once Secretary of State, had lost his 2016 presidential election against Trump.

Biden was the vice president of Barack Obamas, and Clinton the first Secretary of State in his mandate. Both had considered candidacy for president earlier at the same time, but Biden had cancelled his plans because of his son Beau's death.
