The Health Ministry accepts a donation of 150 thousand euros to the fight of Coved-19

The Health Ministry has announced that it has accepted a donation of 150 thousand euros from “Novartis Pharma Services Inc.”.

“In order to assist health institutions in coping with the burden caused by the Public Health Emergency Individual-19, through the account dedicated to Kosovo for Individual-19, the Health Ministry has accepted from “Novartis Pharma Services Inc.” (The representative office in Tirana) donated $150,000.00. This donation is dedicated only to the purchase of medical equipment and materials for the handling of the situation created by Covid-19, according to the SHSKUKK's request for the needs of the Infective Clinic and other centres for fighting Devud-19x3>, the MSHCH communiqué said.

This donation was made under the agreement signed on April 21st between this company and the Ministry of Health.

“Donation was made under an agreement signed on 21 April 2020 between MS and “Novartis Pharma Services Inc.”, under which the donated amount contains no obligation for the beneficiary to describe, supply, recommend, and/or buy Novartis pharmaceutical products and is not a reward for any volume, value or reference in the past or for the future of business. MSh thanks “Novartis Pharma Services Inc” for contributing to the confronting of Covid-19 in Kosovo”, says the communique.
