Haziri: All LDK structures support Isa Mustafa for prime minister

LDK leader Isa Mustafa has secured the support of all party structures to once again be Kosovo prime minister, in possible coalition with AAK and Initiative - AKR.

So says LDK deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri in a response to KosovaPress, but adds that everything will depend on Mustafa.

The “set LDK structures support Isa Mustafa. Depends on him, would you like to repeat, like the past two cases he didn't run himself, but someone else. Don't forget this”, he says.

Although the Vetevendosje Movement as the winning party of past elections has not yet sent the mandate for prime minister, the president, Hashim Thaci, has given signals that will bypass Albin Kurti's party.

Regarding whom, Haziri says they'll only act on the constitutional path, which, according to him, someone else determines.

The “does not depend on the LDK, depends on the constitutional spirit. The constitutional path is determined by someone else. We can only confirm that Isa Mustafa has the mandate of the Council General and the LDK bodies to build the parliamentary majority. If LVV doesn't do it”, he says.

Asked about the chances that during today the LDK chairman Isa Mustafa will meet with President Hashim Thaci, Haziri voiced pessimistic about this.

I don't have an announcement and I don't believe there's a date like this. But I'm not notified”, he says.

During yesterday, LDK chairman Isa Mustafa did not deny the possibility of leading the new government.
