Government cannot implement overall emergency package without approval from Parliament

For its implementation, the Government must request approval from the Parliament for overstepping restrictions coming from the Law on Public Finance Management and Responsibilities (LMFPP), KoHA writes.
In addition to allowing the temporary growth of the budget deficit limit, the Government must seek from the Parliament to change the minimum level of banking balance, as well as the approval of the Government to sign the loan prior to the adoption of the decision by Parliament.
According to Deputy Finance Minister Agim Krasniqi, some of the measures can be implemented without gaining approval from the Parliament. But it has not clarified exactly which of the 13 measures presented in the package could be implemented without such approval.
