The situation at the general hospital in Gjakova “isa Grezda” is calm and working there continues in normal shell. Two out of five individuals belonging to the health person have already recovered, while the other three are continuing to be treated at the Infectious Clinic in the capital. So has the director of this hospital, Hilmi Shala, declared for Kosovo. [...]
Thus, Kosovo has declared the director of this hospital, Hilmi Shala, who added that the health institution's infectious service is 24 hours and is on full alert. He said that they are also supplied with protective equipment.
In our hospital, the situation is currently quiet, the work goes on to normal Souza. We've been fortunate that five people from health staff have resulted in positive results, two have been healed into their families, very soon to join health staff. Three continue to be treated at the Infective Clinic in Pristina. It's all in normals, work goes on normally, treat patients”, Shala said.
Shala reports that there are two infected people in this hospital who are training patients and taking them to the Infectious Clinic at QKUU.
As for the supply of health materials and other measures for the protection of health workers, Shala expresses satisfaction, saying that so far they are well in this regard.
And every patient that comes to me asking for help, we train him and direct him to the Inf-ect clinic. That's where further tests take place, if positive results continue treatment at KKUK. We're well equipped, we've been supplied by the University Clinical Hospital Service, the Ministry of Health, everything is actually fine. There are two infections at Gjakova Hospital, but we have established our service with 14 and other doctors covered in Infective in 24 hours.
Shala announced that all contact files of nurses affected with COVID-19 have been tested, while explaining that the health person and nurses have been infected from outside, not from within.
All of these nurses' contact points have been tested and resulted in negative. I want to explain that the nurses and the health sonnel contact points have had from the outside, not from the inside, so contact with the infection has occurred outside”, he said.
