Austria and Germany are preparing to resume flight operations.

Airports have been closed since the explosion of the coronavirus pandemic. 16,000 planes are on the ground, many airlines are facing immediate destruction. With the planned ease of the measures, there is now new hope that flight operations can also resume slowly.

The month of May is seen as an opportunity to resume flights, but there is no precise date.

Recently, Reuters reports that the European Commission predicts such a decision, but certainly with strict measures.

“The EC will present a set of rules next month for the safe reopening of air travel when coronavrus' pandemic jams run out, including social distance at airports and aircraft. ”, European Union Transport chief Adina Valean said.

According to Valean, some social distance rules at airports and within the aircraft will have to be respected to ensure the safety of travelers, further adding that the measures will include wearing facial masks and dezquencing airplanes and airports.

However, regarding the question of when we can travel through airlines again, Valean says that “cannot say now when this will start happening because we have to listen to health specialists' advice first of all”.

According to aviation associations, it would be desirable for passengers to carry their mask and be notified about it during the booking process.

More distance when you log in but also when checked, meaning that the process takes longer. For passengers, this may mean that they must appear at the airport earlier than before.

The air filters will be present on each aircraft so that the air inside is much cleaner. Air filters clear it of dust, bacteria, and viruses.

The move recently taken by airline companies to release the middle seat could become the biggest problem in restarting flight operations.

The Austrian Aviation Association warns that large planes may lose from this huge 30 - percent change in their cargo, while smaller planes may lose up to 50 percent of their cargo, as well as their revenues drop, or they increase the price of tickets.

This is clear that people suspected of having coronavrus are not allowed to fly.

The airlines are waiting for a decision by authorities to allow testing at the airport, but this is also seen as problematic, because of the time these tests are receiving.

Of the financial, it is clear that just like any other business airlines have suffered a strong advantage from COVID-19, while the International Air Transport Association (IATA) has estimated that the creces can cost airlines a total of $34 billion.
