Valbona Tafilaj has managed to stay at the Infectious Clinic of the University Clinical Center after 30 days to conquer the new coronary, which causes COVID-19.

Valbona is a doctor-psykiatrist in Pristina and works at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo. But the new virus has been infected until it was in England, where it had been on an official trip on March 9th. In the hospital he was laid down on 16,03,2020 and released home on the 1504,2020.

As soon as I arrived at Pristina airport, I asked myself to be tested. The reason has been that since in many lands the coronary was the main theme, in London, where I have spent several days, life developed normally. Although I didn't have any symptoms but the pain on the knot, which I thought I had from walking in London, the test came back positive, said she.

Dr. Tafilaj says she has been surprised by the news he has been told about the test result.

And what happened to me right away was my family. And it turned out, they were very worried. Then I went to the clinic, and for three weeks I didn't even go out to the balcony of the hospital room. My only meeting has been with doctors and nurses, she told Radio Free Europe.

And since the beginning of the disease describes it with easier symptoms, Dr. As days passed, says Tafilaj, the virus began to experience it as an anxiety virus.

At the beginning of my illness, I felt good. A few days later, a severe headache began, vomiting, coughing, and diarrhea. The second week disturbed my heart rate as well as my blood pressure. COVID-19 also started causing anxiety and fear. Every symptom mentioned seemed to be in my body. After the second test came positive, the third test, also positive, to the fourth test, I constantly tested positive”.

This was very disturbing, and I had the impression that I would always live with this virus in my body, and the time of stay in the hospital seemed extremely long, she said.

He describes the room where he spent 30 days as very small, with a red chair in front of the bed, a small table, and the bathroom just three steps from the bed.

Doctors and nurses were the only contact they had.

I've had a hard time staying in a small hospital room and living with the symptom of death, because it's an unknown virus and you don't know what's going on. Every day he waits for oxygen therapy or ventilators. After the fourth test, I've had a nightmare for two days. I've gone through the risk, but it's been difficult”, Tafilaj says.

For some 23 days in a row, she has contacted only medical personnel, but last week, in distance and with mask and gloves, she has met other patients.

For him, this step of communication has given him yet another following nightmare, since his first test has proved positive, fear of infecting someone with the new virus.

My vision has been very strong in me, and I've been able to infect a lot of people, because for 30 days, the test proved positive. The fact that I haven't infected others is making me feel very good, she said.

Above all, says the doctor, it's the work of doctors and nurses who, being on the front line with the new coronary, motivate patients to fight the virus.

In their name and the family, it calls on everyone to stick to recommendations and stay at home, because “is not an easy virus to overcome”.
