Disinfected tunnel with technical problems, Health Director says soon to reactivate

The disinfectant tunnel, located in the courtyard of the Main Centre for Family Medicine (QKMF) in the capital, near the trine tent, as an additional safeguard for preventing the spread of Coronavirus on Saturday has been out of place.

Health Director Bujar Gashi said the tunnel has had a technical problem and that very soon it will be reactivated.

According to him, the team that has established the tunnel is making some changes so that there will be no need for additional staff commitments in its use by citizens.

Gashi stressed that it is also important to put the tunnel in this centre so as to dispel doubts about the contact with Cornavirus.

This tunnel is also located in several parts of the world, but it's pre-arranged that patients who come to the tent for this reason are located at the Family Medicine Center, because we have the largest number of patients and citizens visiting this center because they include a wider region and there are services more than other centers and what makes it more important is the tent, where two weeks ago it's just settled and other centres refer to all the patients who have been affected by Coronavirus referred to in the 11x1) tent, Gashi said in an interview for Online Economics.

“Citizens who enter the tent must first go into the disinfectant tunnel and visit, and that's good because it affects the elimination of the virus. Presequently, experts are seen as necessary in many countries, and as a municipality we have made a decision to have”, Gashi added.

Among other things, Gashi has said the tunnel is not only designated for citizens, but is also exploited by health workers.

“Tunel is not specified and uses both sides, because health workers have contacts with patients affected. We've analyzed it with Mayor Ahmeti and we've seen fit to place a tunnel here”.

And Sadie Ahmeti is looking at the tunnel as problematic. He said he came just to disinfect in this tunnel.

I came to the tunnel, but we see it's not working. He dropped out yesterday and he broke up today. This is a disaster because it cost 200 grand. If they have the money, it's good. In every neighbourhood there should be a tunnel like this”, Ahmeti said.

The tunnel was inaugurated on Wednesday and there is an automatic system that is initiated as soon as it passes through.
