Germany from today will implement the decision to use masks in public spaces.
Almost all of Germany's 83 million residents will be required to wear face covers in public spaces as of Monday, according to reports on federal state internet sites.
Germany is a decentralised country, so each state has its own rules.
Here's a split of when and where to wear a mask:
The capital Berlin is calmer, wearing masks that are required only when boarding public transport.
All other countries require that citizens cover their mouths and noses in shops and public transportation.
Germany's largest state of state, North Rhino-Westpholia, requires citizens to cover their mouths and nose when they visit doctors and when they receive useful workers in their homes, broadcast news.net.
In Schleswig-Holstein's northernmost state of law requiring masks does not enter into force until Wednesday.
Chancellor Angela Merkel's government urgently recommended that citizens wear masks in public, when he cleared some of the restrictions imposed on public life to fight the pandemic of the Coronavirus a week ago.
But all German states have since adopted laws in particular that facial cover clothing be a requirement in some public spaces, Reuters reports.
