Chief of the KRU taskman “Pristina”, Sokol Xhafa in an interview for Online Economy, has said there will be no release from water payments during pandemic.

He further said that along with management and staff, action has been taken to implement an online platform on which consumers can access online and see the debt share.

It was a misunderstanding that happened along the way and we clarified it in our statements. And also with the recommendation of the board of directors who have no forgiveness of water payments, and that is a misunderstanding”.

“We are doing our best to facilitate our consumers' share of payments and for this particular management together with all the staff have taken concrete action where we have implemented a platform on which consumers can access online and open their card and see the debt and payments part and not just the current but all trends in their” folders, he said.

Xhafa has further explained how citizen payments can be made. He said all payments could proceed through the E-Baging system

“Mbi's base of that platform on our website citizens will be able to get the bill reference number even if the bill is not physically accepted by the bill distributor up to the consumer because of the pandemic situation they have access to the online system and they can pull it out and all payments can proceed through the E-baking system.

A particular “is the aspect of handling these payments. All payments will be paid by E-backing. All payments will be addressed and dropped by the consumer's card, but normally the system takes a time from”, he said.

Xhafa, has said there will be no water cuts during pandemic time, but who, according to him, at the moment no payments are paid can't be repaid to institutions.

“As far as payments are concerned with the scope of the incavement and billing are damaged by the pandemic itself as any sector that has been damaged because consumption in institutions is not happening. We're not shutting down the pandemic for time if no payments are made, but we're trying to support everyone, he told EO.

And we're dealing with every request that has been made and we're discussing with board directors to see the possibility of overcoming this situation, because in the pandemic situation it's known that water is necessary and it's an element that should be for maintaining hygiene everyone and it's something without which you're not living”

We're going to save the consumers to keep us down, but in order for us to make sure and the system is always under pressure and the supply is 24 hours”.

We need payments because otherwise we cannot repay debts to other institutions in concrete cases against KEDS or other fees. And normally, they have to be paid, because our employees have to cover up with payments”, he said.
