The World Health Organization says that there is no evidence indicating that individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 have antibodies that protect them from being able to become infected again with the virus.
In a statement Friday O BSH, warned governments that have suggested issuing the so-called “immune passports” or <x2).Certificates that testify to the risk shortage”, which would allow people to return to work or travel in the belief that their antibodies would protect them from the possibility of being infected again.
“People who assume they are immune to a second infection because they have received a positive test result, can ignore public health advice”, O said BSH. “Using such a certificate may increase the risk of continuous transmission”, officials of this organisation warned.
So far there are about 3 million people infected with COVID-19 and more than 197,000 people have lost their lives.
