From yesterday to today, the number of persons infected with Covid 19 worldwide has increased by 100,000 people. Modern statistics show that the total number is 1.7 million.
100,000 people have died and nearly 400,000 have recovered from dangerous infection.
More than 7,000 people have died in Europe. Over 18 thousand people have died in the United States.
As for reports by several countries, including Italy, Slovenia and Austria, that they would ease quarantine measures after Easter holidays, the World Health Organisation warned it is too early to do so.
