More than a million cases of coronarys have been recorded globally, according to recent figures by Johns Hopkins University, another fiery historic moment as the world deals with spreading pandemic, Bbc reports.
Close to 53,000 people have died and more than 210,000 have recovered, according to US university figures.
The U.S. has the most cases, and about 1,000 died there during the past day.
The disease, Coddy-19, first appeared in central China three months ago.
Although the report carried by Johns Hopkins records a million confirmed cases, the actual number is thought to be much higher, broadcast news.
It took a month and a half for the first 100,000 cases to be recorded.
Almost a quarter of the cases have been recorded in the United States, while Europe makes up about half.
