Official Beijing has repeatedly denied the World Health Organisation's demands to participate in investigations into the origin of COVID- 19, the organisation's representative in China, Gauden Galea, has declared today.
“Based on all available evidence, WHO colleagues are convinced that the virus originated in Wuhan and is a natural virus, not produced. We know there is an international investigation, but at this stage we are not invited to join”, Gale told Sky News.
He said WHO was unable to investigate the data of two labs working with viruses in Wuhan, the Institute of Virology and CDC Wuhan.
However, according to Gale, lab journals should be part of any comprehensive report on the origin of the virus.
