Business number registered in the first quarter of this year

According to the AKS, in the first quarter of 2020 (TM1 2020) total are registered 2311 companies.

Compared to this quarter to the preliminary quarter (TM4 2019) there is a drop of (-9.94%) of registered companies.

And compare TM1 2020 with the same quarter of the preliminary year (TM1 2019) has a drop of (-3.86%) companies registered, news reports.

As for economic activities, the favorite in this quarter were: Major and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles, motorcycles with 590 registered companies (25.5%); Production of 363 registered companies (15.7%); The accommodation and food services activities of 270 registered companies (11.7%); Professional, scientific and technical activities with 225 companies registered (9.7%); Construction with 213 registered companies (9.2%), etc.

AKS statistics show that during this quarter, in the category of 1 to 4 employed are a total of 2209 registered companies (95.6%); in the category of 5 to 9 employed are 64 Sosh (2.8%); in the category of 10 to 19 employed are 25 registered companies (1.1%); in the category of 20 to 249 employed are 13 registered companies (0.6%); while in the category of 250 and more employed, there is no registered company.

As for the geographical alignment of registered companies at the level of municipalities, as in every quarter, the Pristina municipality dominates 741 registered companies (32.1%); Ferizaj with 178 registered companies (7.7%); Prizren with 162 registered companies (7.0%); Gjilan with 139 registered companies (6.0%); Peja with 133 registered companies (5.8%); and Fushe Kosova with 101 registered companies (4.4%). While other municipalities have smaller numbers of companies registered in this quarter.
