In recommendations issued last, O BSH took its old stance that although the mask may limit the spread of infection, it is not sufficient in itself.
After examining new data suggesting that masks could prevent the spread of the coronary, the World Health Organization did not recommend their dress in public, writes Guardian.
“If people don't work on health care systems, masks are only about protecting others, not protecting themselves, said Professor David Heyman, who led the infection risk advisory group.
O recommendations The BSH are different from those in the U.S. Center «for Disease Prevention and Control and a number of civil protection centres in European countries, Kosovas broadcasts.
In particular, Heyman argues that masks can create a false sense of security that would put people in greater danger. Even if the nose and mouth are covered, the virus can still be seen. Another problem is that people can get infected when they remove or fix the mask on their face.
They also added that states that recommend wearing masks should control how effective the measure is.
“A clothing mask, or low-quality surgical mask, will not filter particles or aerosols that some claim to transmit infection. The main question should be how to protect our eyes”, said Professor William Keville of Southampton University,
