Britain marks 917 victims of the virus in 24 hours, among them an 11-year-old

In England, 823 victims were registered in Scotland 47 and the rest in Wales and Northern Ireland.

Britain has been marking large numbers of victims in recent days. On Friday, 980 fatal cases were recorded, while Thursday, 938.

The total number of infected persons went to 78,991, making the United Kingdom one of Europe's most common corruption cases.

Even the country's prime minister, Boris Johnson, is being treated in hospital due to coronary infection. However, his office said the government chief's health has improved markedly after he started walking.

British police have called on people not to be encouraged by good weather and not to get out because of the risk of infection.
