European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell warned of the danger that countries outside Europe -- above all, China and Russia -- will benefit from the Corleone pandemic -- to extend their political influence to European countries if the EU fails to provide an adequate economic response to the crisis.
“There is danger that China and Russia will exploit the crisis caused by the spread of the coronary epidemic to increase their political influence on individual European countries, in the interests of their political interest to highlight their geopolitical role,”tha Borrell to the Italian newspaper Repubblica.
