Kosmajac has been one of the most suspected people in trafficking narcotics, but the lack of Puerto Ricans has prevented him from being punished at his home. His name became known to the public when, in the summer of 2014, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic called it the largest drug dealer” and announced his arrest.
Interior Minister to Serbia Nebojsa Stefanovic then formed a special team to prove Kosmajci's connection to organised crime, but failed. Kosmajac was arrested and his property was temporarily confiscated, however, police and prosecutors failed to prove his role in the drug trade. Instead, he was charged with tax evasion.
