The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation ( MASTI has ruled for “student evaluation procedures during a distance lesson”, at all levels of pre-university education.
We've provided details on the methods, notation modes and notation procedures for setting notes in the teacher's personal journal. Notes from teachers should be reported to the school organs in order to issue booklets, certificates, vouchers, and student diplomas. Then, at the moment conditions for return to school, final grades are placed in the corresponding classroom's journal and in the books mother”, Education Minister Hykmete Bajrami has said.
She added that in the month of May, a decision will be made to keep the arrival test (catell 9) and Matura's test (cless 12) in consultation with relevant authorities and institutions. With this decision, dates for enrollment in the 10th grade will also be harmonised, as well as deadlines for application for studies in University or College.
Minister Bajrami's full announcement:
In 24.04.2020, MASTTI has ruled for “The process of implementing students' assessment during a long-term study”, at all levels of pre-university education. Also, with the help of many experts, we have compiled a “student assessment guide during the distance lesson” in Kosovo during the period of emergency circumstances created by the COVID 19 pandemic for the 2019/20 school year.
These two documents should be considered integral parts of distance learning. The student evaluation guide during distance learning suggests that students' evaluations in distance learning are integrated. Thus, during the period of distance learning under the conditions of COVID 19, the provisions of Article 3 Administrative Guide 8/2016 will not be implemented under the framework of the pre-university education curriculum in the Republic of Kosovo.
On the guide, we've provided details about the methods, the way of swimming and the procedures of putting notes in the teacher's personal journal. Notes from teachers should be reported to the school organs in order to issue booklets, certificates, vouchers, and student diplomas. Then, as conditions for going back to school develop, final notes are placed in the corresponding classroom and motherbooks.
In May, we will also make a decision to keep the arrival test (c: 9) and Matura Test (cance 12), in consultation with the authorities and relevant institutions. With this decision, dates for enrollment in the 10th grade will also be harmonised, as well as deadlines for application for studies in University or College.
I thank once again all experts engaged in drafting the guide, which has been the request of many teachers, and will facilitate the entire student evaluation process under these unusual circumstances.
