In the announcement sent to the media by ATK reportedly with the goal of implementing decision No. 01/07 and 01/09 of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as the decision of the Minister of Finance and Transitions of the 2904.2020, for taking additional measures after confirming positive cases with David-19, the Kosovo Tax Administration has extended the deadline for the declaration.
Statements and payments made by the longer term do not submit to penalties defined in the tax legislation in force.
Also, we inform you that the deadline is extended by 15.05.2020, as well as for handling and setting the requirements related to the reimbursements”.
All taxpayers who under tax legislation are obliged to declare and pay for these types of taxes, the Tax Administration allows them to submit a request for a tax payment payment agreement if they testify they have a financial difficulty in meeting obligations due to the pandemic situation caused by COVID-19<1>.
“The Tax Administration encourages all taxpayers, who have no financial difficulties, to continue with meeting tax obligations within the regular legal deadline”, the statement said.
