American scientists say that the coronary dies faster when exposed to sunlight, although this study has not yet been made public and external evaluations are expected.
William Bryan, science and technology adviser at the Homeland Security Department, told reporters at the White House on Thursday that government scientists discovered that ultraviolet rays had a powerful impact on pathogens, increasing hopes that its spread could slow down over the summer.
“Virus dies sooner when exposed directly to sunlight,” said Bryan.
Our most wonderful observation so far is the powerful effect that solar light appears to have on the murder of the virus ) on both surfaces and air,” he added.
“We have seen an effect similar to temperature and humidity, where temperature growth and humidity, or both, are less favourable for the “virus, he said.
