Albanian nurse Valbona Ishmaku, who works in New York America, in an interview for “News 24”, speaking of the condition from the Coronavirus in that American state, declared working in a hospital where the condition of patients with Ovid-19 appears to be grave.

I've been a nurse here in America for eight years. And all this time, I worked for a Montefior Medical Center hospital in the Bronx, New York. I worked at the Cardiology Department, but now we've been mobilized to care for patients infected with COVID 19 for two weeks.

Work at the hospital is very stressful because many of us nurses have moved, displaced from our position, and now we have to serve these sick patients without even having enough training for the new position.

The stress, on the other hand, is that these patients are in critical condition very quickly from a three - day brocnoplemium to lung bankruptcy, where they need artificial ventilation.

The nurses' schedule is from breakfast to dinner. With a word of 12 and a half hours of work. The hospital where I work only gives us a mask a day. This makes work very difficult because removing and wearing a used mask increases the risk of contamination and infection.

Many nurses and doctors have been infected with this virus. Some nurses have lost their lives, while others are hospitalised in critical condition”, the Albanian nurse said. ”

Furthermore, nurse Valbona Ishmaku related how a doctor has passed away at the hospital where she works.

One of the doctors our hospital lost is Dr. James Goodrich. This doctor has orchestrated the division operation of two twins attached to the head in our hospital. A woman told me to call her daughter and tell her that she was at a loss with a coronary.

I took her, and her daughter said she loved her mother very much. When the girl arrived, the mother fell into a coma unconsciously. From this virus, irreplacent people are losing their lives, not only to their family, but to the medical community.

I would like to stress that many of the infections of health workers occurred in the first few weeks of the flow of infected patients, when testing was not available for all patients and the results were delayed by three four days. During this time, the hospital, since there were few masks and “personnel protection equipment” said not to be used, to waste masks until results come. During this time many were infected with the task.

At the hospital where I work yesterday's April 5th numbers are 1662 confirmed cases of people hospitalised with this virus. There's 57 people at the ward where I work.

In New York City the total number of people tested positive by April 4th is 122 031, with the southern part of the state of NY with the largest number of cases, and only this day have we had 827 people tested positive. Interestingly, since the number of people tested positive, 55% are men and 44% women. I would point out that although this virus has more people who are old or people who suffer from other diseases, it does not save young people either. There have been many cases when young people who have suffered no illness have lost their life on this virus. Many doctors think it's a genetic predisposition that makes these people vulnerable to this virus.”, Ishmaku said.

The nurse from Albania also stated that the morgue in the hospital is full and that the number of patients with coronarys is growing in a dramatic manner.

The good news is that 74% of people who are hospitalised by infection with this virus have recovered and passed. In the hospital where I work, an drug is being tested for patients with lung problems from this virus. The name of the medicine is REMEDESIVIER. It's still under test, although it's giving patients the date, we don't have the date to give at this time to the effect of this drug.

The stress in our hospital is that many health workers, including nurses, without talking about the high number of patients, are very sick and infected with this virus. This has led to uncritical care equipment, such as in intensive wards, the ratio of 1 nurse with 10 patients, and in patients where the service is intensive, the report is 1 nurse with 4 patients. These reports have previously been 1 to 6 and 1 to 1 or 1 to 2, respectively. The stress is not to infect yourself, and then bring the virus home and infect the most expensive people in life. Then the nurse's job is work that is both physically and mentally and emotionally. You don't just have the sick patient you're sorry about, and their families.
