Over 2 million and 902 thousand and 450 cases have been officially diagnosed in 193 countries and territories since the explosion. However, this number is only a fraction of the current number, as many countries test only cases requiring hospital treatment.
Among these cases, at least 791.700 are now considered healed.
The United States, which registered the first deaths in connection with the virus in early February, is the most death-hit country, with 53,934 deaths and 539,249 infected. At least 105,818 people are considered healed.
After the US, Italy was hit the hardest, with 26.384 deaths and 195,351 infected Spain with 23,190 deaths and 226,629 cases, France with 22,614 deaths and 161,488 cases, and Great Britain with 20,319 deaths and 148,377 infected.
China, excluding Hong Kong and Macao, where the explosion began in December, officially recorded 82,827 infected, with 11 new cases between Saturday and Sunday, and 4,623 people died, while 77,394 people were healed.
So far, 122,846 deaths of 1,367,124 have been reported in Europe this afternoon.
The United States and Canada have 56,450 deaths and 984,280 infected, Latin America and the Caribbean have 7,967 deaths and 161,109 infected, Asia 7,958 deaths and 199,558 infected. The Middle East has 6,286 deaths of 152,033 cases, Africa 1,379 deaths and 30,341 cases, and Ocean 108 deaths and 8,013 infected.
