The Democratic League of Kosovo yesterday officially elected Avdullah Hotin for mandate of the new government, which is expected to be formed these days. Coalition partners with the LDK are expected to be AAK, AKR, Initiative and Minority, parties that have already already started talks with the LDK on harmonising the governing programme.
Rasim Selmanaj, AAK deputy, has confirmed the portal, which is in talks with the LDK and is expected to be voted in the new government next week.
The two AAK and LDK parties, I think, are in the discussion phase. The process is going well and we hope that next week there may be a session for forming government”, Selmanaj told “Front Online”.
Regarding his requirements The AAK to enter the coalition with the LDK, the AAK deputy has stressed that they are also being discussed jointly with harmonisation of the programmes of both parties.
“I hope there will be harmonisation of both parties' programme. The highway issue, besides that, is a priority. We are aware that the budget was approved but to see with next year's budget how we will act”, Selmanaj said, for “Front Online”.
As for demarcation with Montenegro, he has stressed that it is the duty of every government to finalise this international agreement.
“Demarkation is an issue that makes a lot of noise. A law with three mothers has been voted in parliament. In addition to Murat Meha's is the State Commission report and a statement by two presidents. From that law that has been passed in parliament this government and any other government is obliged to correct the border in terms of Tower and Chuckorit”, he has said.
Yesterday's chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, has declared that if agreement is reached with coalition partners, the new government will be formed at the weekend.
