In Italy, 727 new deaths, or 110 less than yesterday, have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

This increased the total number of deaths to 13.155, Kosovas Press broadcasts.

Italian doctors have added hope, given yesterday's expectations, that at least the number of new infected people is on the decline, despite a still high mortality rate.

Today, however, the situation has collapsed and the number of new cases has increased to 4,782, while the death toll has decreased.

The number of cases is on the rise and in the most affected region of Lombardy. Almost 500 cases more than yesterday or 1.565 have been recorded.

The governor of Lombardy, Attilio Fontana, believes the pandemic has now reached its peak.

In Italy, 110,574 people have been infected since the spread of the choreography, while 16.847 have recovered.
