About 50 people from Prizren who have had contact with Corleone sufferers are on a waiting list to be tested.
Prizren Mayor Mytaher Haskuka has told Express that the people who will undergo tests are identified.
We now have 21 active cases. There were 23, one dead, one recovered. After those cases that came up positive two days ago, their contacts were defined and about 50 people were tested tomorrow. Contact contacts have also been traced, but in some cases we have to wait until the incubation phase”, Haskuka said.
Haskuka has stressed that Prizren's QKMFs are organising work over the phone, where citizens call to schedule medical examinations.
This is according to him not to cause long lines of waiting through QKMF and avoid contacts.
“In terms of the QKMFs we've organized the call job so that citizens don't contribute to each other. Citizens have phone numbers, they call and they set the term for checks. But doctors are also going to their homes to check”, Haskuka said.
He has made it known that if there are episodes that go for medical examinations without prior treatment, they are initially checked if they have symptoms of the COVID-19 virus.
If someone comes unannounced, the symptoms first take place, if there are no symptoms, is taken in and controlled, if there are symptoms isolated, and other necessary steps are taken”, Haskuka stressed.
Prizren's first one has stressed that citizens are respecting the measures, but he says that along with the police, they are in constant control to ensure that all recommendations are being ignored.
