47 Corleone cases in Pec are still expected to increase the number of infected

The institute disclosed that the large number of cases of coronary cases in Pec are due to attending a mortary ceremony on April 6th.

Health Director in the Pec municipality Petrit Loci says of Kosova Prees, that all the new cases infected in this municipality are family contact cases which the day before had a death case.

“The current health situation of 26 people affected by Covid-19 is quiet, there are a total of 47 patients who are currently affected that we have three patients in the extended Infectious Clinic, one patient has passed away and all others are being treated in their homes. All of these are cases of contact with internal outcomes involving the mortar case that took place after several days in the family affected by the virus”, Loci says.

All these cases, Loci says, are cases of contact with the large family in which the great number of people went for comfort the previous day after a death.

We have Blagaja and Crystal at the moment, while yesterday's tests have been employees of a firm, a hypermarket, but fortunately they have all resulted in negative”, he adds.

Coronavirus tests yesterday in Pec were subjected to 43 people, of whom 26 have been affected.

Among the tested persons were six employees of a hypermarket in Pec, who, according to Loci, resulted in negative.

The model workers were contact cases, since an infected person worked there.

The director of Health at Pec says they expect even some people to undergo tests while stressing that the number may increase because of contact with already affected cases.

Tests will still take place today in the town of Pec. We're waiting to undergo testing some people who have been contact cases. These numbers are likely to increase the measure that contact cases can also change the current situation”, Loci says.

The Institute of Public Health in Kosovo announced last night that it has tested a total of 255 samples, trace of ground case contacts and the Student Centre, where 39 cases resulted.

The IKSF announced that all are contact cases, where 26 of them turned out to be from the municipality of Pec.

The large number of cases confirmed today in Pec are due to participation in a mortar ceremony on April 6, 2020, despite measures to prevent mass collection of citizens. As a result of this action so far, 36 positive cases with COVID-19” have been diagnosed, the National Public Health Institute report said last night.

So far in Pec, they're infected with Coved-19, 47 people and one has passed away.

The first cases were in the village of Llugagji, one in Dardania County in Peja, and then in Crystal County.

Peja has not yet been quarantined, except it functions with measures taken by the Health Ministry for limiting the movement.
