By 2021, KSF is added to 400 members, even other army cadets can be trained in Kosovo

Kosovo Security Force (FSK) this year is scheduled to add 400 new members. Also, the cadries of other countries will come to train at the Training and Training Command.

This is said in an interview for Online Economics, the commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Nundman Rama, broadcasts Kosovo.

We're actually planning to start retour campaign in May. But it depends on the situation. I hope we'll get through this situation we're actually in, but we can do it in the second half of the year. We plan that 400 more recruits we have this year, to become their recruiting, selection, selection to perform basic training so that in January 2021 they will be active”, Rama said.

He has said the transformation in the military has gone very well, even beyond expectations.

Until right now, because of the indigestion i.m., our expectations are beyond our reach. The first year has been more administrative, changing regulations, laws and administrative work that we have had to deal with, but always maintaining the operation we have had and building capacities based on the new mandate and mission. We're fine, except for this period that will affect our transition plan, but also the daily life of our institution. It's an unforeseen thing, but we're going to do a re-evaluation, re-planning all of our activities, and I think we're going to achieve the goal and target”, Rama said.

Rama has indicated they are satisfied with their own achievements.

But so far, we're satisfied with all the achievements achieved right now. Still we continue, in the administrative sense, we are working but, in the theoretical and practical sense, distinguishing, in the theoretical sense, we are working and in that practice whenever conditions” are created, Rama added.

In this interview with Online Economy, Rama has also spoken of the commitment to KSF members of communities and the pressures they have been made to abandon Force.

We haven't had any problems. It's a fact that there's been pressure that doesn't come from the outside despite our commitment and our will. We still have achieved progress on this issue. We're not at that level we wanted but we have minorities, we have over 10 percent of communities. Unfortunately, the pressure came from abroad and from unauthorized persons. Some of them have let it go, not at their own convenience”.

I'm glad that we've never had any remarks about our institution from the moment of recruiting them, but even in professional service, the problem has been pressure from our members and their families. A lot of them survived this pressure. We have co-operated closely with all institutions, whether local or international, that we support and the situation is calmer. Systemic pressures have continued, but part of them are active”, Rama said.

He added that they are satisfied with their work, engagement and performance.

Rama has said that the priority is professional establishment, which is being made in co-operation with the US, Great Britain, Germany, Turkey and many other countries.

We have offered other countries to be part of our academy. All preparations have been conducted, programmes have been discredited and it is a very professional programme, but, at the same time, preparations for the programme will be in English”, Rama added.

Rama said that in co-operation with NATO's advisory team, military capacities are building.

“We are product of NATOS and everything are built on the basis of NATO standards. In addition, we have witnessed full capacity recognition in 2013 and as a result of our commitment we are here. Does he need more? Yeah. We're building our internal capacities. We have the command of Doctrine and Training that we are reviewing and building new capacities always taking into account the expertise we've received, but also the knowledge and experience from the countries I've mentioned, specifically from the United States”.

This is our goal and goal. We have their support and all our partners, the interest of Kosovo is to build our capacities in command of training and training because we are obliged to respect laws based on our mandate and mission. The first priority has been administrative changes. He has said the KSF has a 10-year plan with partners, reports EO.

Rama has said there is no cooling of reports with the US.

I don't want to get involved in political issues. As far as the cooperation we have with the American Army is concerned, we're just raising cooperation and support. We have our common plan only to grow and advance”, he said.

He has also talked about the creation of the National Guard, where it has shown that they are in its initial phase.

The National Guard is currently a new unit in the KSF. Guard is in the initial phase. We've built the Guard headquarters, and it's intended at the moment to take care of the current capacity and are in their command and management. The guard's case is the priority before the end. In the future it will be 20 percent active, the rest reserve, there will be six regional commands that will be cared for, have more cooperation or co-ordination of jobs with local authorities and communities. We're in the initial phase, we've created the base and we're gradually going to develop”, he said.

Lieutenant General Rama, has also indicated the equipment and funding of KSF.

“Systems are never enough, but on the basis of the plan and the financial declaration 5, 5 million per year, we have full support. Of course our demands are greater but we in consultation with the MF and other actors, our priorities are bigger but we always respect economic development, budgetary opportunities and it's not the goal of becoming a budget burden. But mine is asking for more to achieve the goal and we're doing it. We have had and will have support based on our real demands”, he added.

Rama said the KSF has enough equipment, but always needs more sophisticated equipment.
