In the Pristina municipality, over 200 technological equipment has been collected to donate to needy family students.

This initiative will allow students to learn through the virtual platform, which is being used after the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Pristina municipality deputy head Muheddin Nushi told Online Economy that in the next week these devices will be handed over to students after IT auditing.

Nushi announced that the number of students in need is great, so he asked citizens to donate equipment that is not used by them.

After he said, all who deliver technological equipment will be informed of which family they have been handed over.

“The mayor's initiative about the donation with phone equipment, smart phones with PC computers, pills, iPods. On Monday or Tuesday, they will be handed over to them, so far we have collected close to 200 equipment, these from today will start being controlled by the IT community association in Kosovo, STIKK. They will be checked to see if they are in regular condition or not”.

If they're not, they'll be fixed and formatted and students delivered operational equipment. The student can start using that device right away. The number of needy students is not small”.

“I appeal that whoever has any equipment that can be accessed by students under heavier social conditions and cannot afford to provide us with these teaching tools in the municipality to sign equipment delivery papers and we will inform them where it has gone, said Nushi.

Moreover, Nushi announced that the municipality has begun the project to digitise educational-instruction process.

He said that in September 2021 all primary schools in the Pristina municipality, including electronic journals, will be fully digitised.

With this project, Nushi stressed that Kosovo entered the World City List in the information technology application in teaching processes, EO reports.

This is where we're leading you to an extremely large project that is digitizing the entire educational-address process in the future. Our tender is that in September 2021 we are fully digitized in all primary schools in the Pristina municipality and have electronic journal”.

This is the start of the project, which is hosting the Pristina municipality. We started the rank of those world cities where the level of information technology applications in educational processes are at the highest possible level of”, Nushi said.
