Fourteen new cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
So far there are 26 people who have lost their lives as a result of the coronary, while affected cities are Tirana and Shkodra.
Dr. Marjeta Dervishi of the Public Health Institute gave details:
Following daily communication, we suggest that work on the ground continues to identify new cases and tracking random contacts, confirmed positive.
In the last 24 hours, 231 suspected persons with COVID-19 have been tested, of which 35 are health personnel.
Of the test results, 14 positive cases with COVID19 have been confirmed, of which 1 is health personnel in Shkodra.
Of the new cases 7 belong to Kruja, 5 cases in Tirana, 2 cases in Shkodra.
So far, 5542 suspected cases have been tested and they are confirmed positive with COVID-19, 562 cases, so about 10% of all those tested.
This figure points to a good audit of the epidemic and an entirely sufficient number of tests to assess the situation.
Over the past 24 hours, another 12 patients have been added to the list of cures, bringing the number of cures from COVID-19 to 314.
Currently, there are 222 active infected persons in our country, and as it turns out, the number of cures is higher, and this trend is now going on for more than a week.
To date, 26 citizens have lost their battle with this disease despite medical staff efforts.
We're informing you that 34 are currently available. Six patients are in intensive therapy.
At COVIDD 2 “Chiefs Rudoku”, eight patients down. 4 patients are in intensive therapy in heavy condition, while four are in the ward.
42 patients are currently receiving service in two hospitals.
