100 Doctors Die From Coronavirus in Italy

The latest victim is a 62-year-old doctor from the town of Mire in the Veneto province.

Italy is flooded with victims of deadly pandemic and has the largest number of victims from all over the country, with medical staff paying a painful harac in and out of hospitals for lack of protective equipment such as gloves and facial masks.

On Saturday Carlos Palermo, president of the Union of Associated Annaao Doctors, said about 120 nurses, including 80 doctors and 40 nurses and caregivers, had died.

Italy has confirmed about 140,000 total cases so far, of which nearly 10 percent or 13,522 are medical staff.
