The escalation of pandemic and rapid global spread disturbs the World Health Organization.
As we enter the fourth month since the outbreak of pandemic, I am deeply concerned about the rapid escalation and global spread of the virus. Over the last five weeks we have witnessed significant increases in the number of cases, spread to nearly every country, territory or area. The number of victims is more than doubled last week”, said Tedros Adhanom Ghebrreesus, director general of WHO.
WHO leader called for more assistance to be managed by developing countries, including at or in Africa and South America, where, as he said, Ovid-19 could have a serious social, economic and political impact.
