The war breaks out between Albin Kurti and Nundman Jashaw: Catch on a date

Today Prime Minister Kurti hosted the SBASAK chairman, Mr. Nighman Jasharaj, who had even threatened with mass strikes a few days earlier if this meeting was not carried out. Prime Minister Kurti himself had declared during yesterday that it was absurd that the minimum wage in the public sector be more than 500 euros, with a 100-euro increase in the past five years.

It was an announcement of war against Mr. Beftman Jasharaj, who in the past five years has managed to win any union battle with Kosovo's former prime ministers. Jasharaj had also fulfilled his threats, and during the past year he had humiliated Prime Minister Haradinaj on two occasions, writes Periscopi.

Last year, Yashaw's strike had lasted three weeks, while not even after a series of repeated demands from the former prime minister and former Minister of Education for Hours Repaying, it was not accomplished after Jasharaj had again threatened to strike for such a thing.

It is absurd that the minimum wage in the public sector is over 500 euros, where in the last five years it has risen for 100 euros. This increase has not taken place for 15 euros in the private sector either. The state must help here because this cannot be okay and cannot pay under 350 euros”, Prime Minister Kurti said.

Meanwhile, today it is learned that Kurt's meeting with Jasharne and four other top unionists, including firemen, doctors, policemen, health and customs, has lasted a full hour and a half.

The problem this time involved the Law of Salaries, which has been suspended until the 30th of this month.

Kurt has not been declared at all for the media, but unionists have been tough.

Blerim Syla of Health has stated they will give the government little time to reflect, but it is worrying that the government does not have a plan B.

“Brending that if this law doesn't pass (and) we don't have a B plan from the government, reactions will be consolidated so that the situation won't get out of control and then even anarchic groups that I didn't wish for in any country”, he said, thus threatening unrest.

Meanwhile, Nundman Jasharaj himself has openly expressed disappointment with the current meeting with Kurti.

“We are not satisfied with the meeting, because we have expected to be guaranteed the desired and necessary budget that will be planned in order to be support for the functioning of the wage law. What we were told those millions are not enough to implement the wage law”, said Mr. Jasharaj.

Jasharaj has declared that the government must understand that unions are social partners and the voice of employees, not its enemy.

He has again threatened strikes and blockades of education if Kurt does not surrender.

If this continues the strikes are inevitable, and so do our colleagues”, Mr. Jasharaj. /Periscope
