Vuciqi doesn't prefer frozen “conflict with Kosovo

Washington, March 5th, I understand the need for resolving the Kosovo issue, which is not easy for me since you're asking most of Serbia's citizens, they prefer frozen conflicts before any other solution, while I don't belong to this multitude of thoughts. So said the president of Serbia, [...]
That's what Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq, has said in an interview given the American magazine Foreign Policy, broadcasts Koha.net.
We must continue dialogue and all necessary efforts to find compromise. I repeat, I don't know what that compromise would look like, but it has to be a loss for both sides, be a small victory for both sides. One of the other has to be guaranteed for a much, much better future.
Vuciq was quoted as saying Belgrade is committed to working with Pristina in order to find a possible solution that will not be easily achieved.
I mean, our Western partners would have to participate in all this work. We cannot have two negotiating processes, one with Thaci in Washington, the other with Kurt in Brussels. You don't know who you're talking to.
I hope they take off the tax and it's going to happen because of US pressure, Vuciq said, and added that without that pressure they would never get rid of it.
I consider that the most important thing is to put flights between Belgrade and Pristina, as we have talked to the American side, and focus on all that we have accomplished through the negotiation process under the EU auspices, Vuciq has said.
I don't know how this whole process could end, what could be essentially part of the possible final solution, that someone could propose to us, he said.
Vuciq has indicated that he hopes for establishing better economic ties so that people can better be understood among themselves, while dialogue is needed for that.
