Vlora Citaku has an important appeal for Kosovars living in the US

Through a Facebook post, Citaku has called on Kosovars who have an emergency to present their requests for return to the embassy's email.

She has said that relevant institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are making continued efforts and co-ordination to enable safe return home.

“In Pristina University dormitories within 5-6 days ends the period of incubation of the virus meaning that the first repatriated group will emerge quickly from quarantine”, Citaku said.

We beg all citizens of Kosovo who are in the United States with an emergency to continue to present their requests for return to the Ambassador's e-mail (those who have not done so far), by attaching their passport and visa copies.

The respective institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are making continued efforts and co-ordination to enable safe return home.

You are aware that all returnees should be placed in 14-day quarantine and spaces are restricted, so wait until all returnees are secured.

Waiting at the airport and at other border points will be realised by the police and KSF, with what returns will be arranged in quarantine.

New countries will soon be prepared to deploy other citizens arriving in Kosovo from different countries.

In view of the crisis that has engulfed the whole world, including Kosovo, as well as the difficulties you may face when you return, we strongly encourage you that if you do not have an emergency chance to stay in the countries you are in.
