In the arch of a few hours from the death of 85-year-old from Tirana, eight of the Coronavirus has been registered victims at the Infective Hospital in the capital.
The Health Ministry announced that a 66-year-old patient from Fieri, confirmed with COVID-19, suffered sudden death (infart) this morning.
The 66-year-old was treated for two days at the Infective Hospital in QSUT. Despite immediate medical staff assistance, 66-year-old who suffered from chronic pulmonary disease, hypertension, gastro-instintic hemorrhag, failed to survive.
The 66-year-old is the eighth victim affected by COVID-19 in Albania.
The Health Ministry expresses condolences to the deceased family and appeals and once again citizens respect very rigorously the rules of isolation and social distance, as well as call national emergency in the number 127 if they have signs of illness.
