A air defence system, which brought down an armed Turkish threat, is also said to have collapsed, and two other systems have been destroyed.
Turkey launched operation on Sunday “Spring Source” in Idbbi following the deadly attack on Turkish soldiers by Syrian forces in late hours Thursday.
Several dozen more were injured in the attack, writes “Anadolu”.
Following this attack, Turkish President Recep Erdogan has decided to open the doors to the EU to Syrian refugees, arguing that Turkey cannot afford the new wave of immigrants leaving Syria.
