Thaci and Vuciq meet at the White House

It is not clear at present what forms they are meeting in, but earlier had been warned that the Serbian president would be received by National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien.
The two presidents are in the United States on separate visits, during which US officials have called for both sides to undertake northways ensuring the resumption of talks on normalising relations between them.
American officials are urging Kosovo to lift tariffs imposed in November 2018 on Serbian goods, while Belgrade has been urging it to end the campaign to attract recognitions of Kosovo's independence.
Within less than a month, the United States secured two agreements between the two sides for the deployment of the airline, the railway, and the construction of highways between the two countries.
