27-year-old Kathryn Houghtalling was sentenced to four years in prison, although the law predicted up to 15 years in prison. But she pleaded with two boys, aged 16 and 17.
Sexual assaults had occurred in December 2018 of January 2019 in Michigan, when both victims were under the age of accepting sexual acts, which is 18 in that US state.
In her speech Houghtling wept, acknowledging that she had behaved gravely and that her crime had lost both her job and marriage.
