Suspension in CEC, list of candidates for Podujevo elections

The Central Election Commission (KQZ ) has drawn lots for ranking political subjects in balloting for the extraordinary election for the mayor of the Podujevo municipality.

LDK candidate Nedhmi Rudari will have a 11th Vetevendosje Movement candidate, Speed Bulqi will have a 12th number, while candidate PDK, Naim Fetah number 10.

CEC Chairman Valdete Daka said the institution leading has made all necessary preparations for elections in Podujevo.

Daka called on all candidates and political subjects to respect the CEC's constitution and rules in extraordinary elections.

“The CEC so far in preparing an extraordinary election for mayor has carried out almost all activities. I invite all candidates and subjects who are part of the elections in the Podujevo municipality to respect the constitution, respect the laws in power and regulation of the CEC and together contribute to the development of democracy, and in elections in the Podujevo municipality”, Daka said.

Otherwise, the election campaign in Podujevo will begin on March 3rd and last until March 13th, while elections will be held on March 15th.
