Slovenia confirmed its first coronavirus case, the Health Ministry said on its website late Wednesday.
As Reuters writes, the patient had travelled to Slovenia through neighbouring Italy and was now in a Ljubljana hospital, the National STA news agency reported.
Otherwise, it is said that Slovenia has conducted about 352 tests, on suspected coniferators.
Meanwhile, according to the same media, Hungary has confirmed two new cases of coronavrus -- two Iranian students in Hungary.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on his Facebook page: “We have a first cases infected, or, rather, two immediately, who should be hospitalised”.
By contrast, Iran is one of the most hit countries in the region outside China, where the explosion originated late last year.
The epidemic spread further across the world on Wednesday, with confirmed cases approaching 100,000 globally.
